Criminal Intelligence Analysis Unit (CIAU)
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Criminal Intelligence Analysis Unit (CIAU) provides intelligence analysis of 911 calls and criminal incidents recorded by LCSO and six municipalities:
- Troy
- Moscow Mills
- Old Monroe
- Elsberry
- Winfield
- Hawk Point

- 911 Calls for Service
- UCR Part 1 & 2 Crime Incidents
- Historical Crime Map (2019-2021)
- Drug/Overdose Incidents
- Micro-Community Crime Maps
- Various Heat Maps
- Sex Offender Search Application
- Request Extra Patrol Application
- Register a Camera Application
- Help Identify Application
- Motor Vehicle Accident Maps
The CIAU mission is to produce timely intelligence products supporting the LCSO and its partners.
Strategic Goals & Objectives
- Goal 2: Use intelligence-driven strategies to reduce violent and property crimes to five-year averages or lower.
- Objective 2.1: Maintain active crime analysis for real-time resource deployment.
- Objective 2.2: Strengthen community-policing collaboration.
- Objective 2.3: Improve coordination and information sharing for better cases and faster critical responses.
- Objective 2.4: Optimize resources using technology as a force multiplier.
- Objective 2.5: Introduce social network approaches to reduce recidivism.
