The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is proud to announce the receipt of a $1,000 Spark Grant from the Walmart store in Troy, Missouri, in support of our K9 Support and Community Safety Initiative.

This generous grant directly supports our K9 Unit by funding critical training, equipment, and healthcare needs. With these funds, the Sheriff's Office will be able to purchase essential gear such as bulletproof vests, working harnesses, and health-related supplies—ensuring our K9s are well-protected and ready to serve in high-risk operations such as drug detection, search and rescue, and public safety missions.

Sheriff Rick Harrell expressed his appreciation, stating, "This contribution not only strengthens our K9 capabilities but also represents the ongoing partnership between local businesses and public safety. We’re incredibly grateful to Walmart and the Spark Good program for recognizing the vital role our K9s play in keeping Lincoln County safe."

The K9 Support and Community Safety Initiative is dedicated to enhancing the safety and effectiveness of our K9 Unit while building trust with the community through transparency and outreach. This grant is a step forward in advancing both those goals.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Walmart and their Troy, MO team for their continued commitment to supporting law enforcement and public safety in our community.
